Sonia started her nursing career at Eagle Ridge Hospital in 2009, after graduating with her Licensed Practical Nurse certification. Her focus was on Geriatric Care, in addition to medical/surgical nursing. In 2012, Sonia pursued further education, and obtained her certificate as a Foot Care Nurse. Sonia has the educational training, experience and skills which make her uniquely qualified to manage a wide variety of foot conditions including corns, calluses, ingrown nails, fungal nails, and diabetic foot care. As a foot care nurse, Sonia wants to provide quality foot and nail care, assist with maintaining foot health and improving mobility and quality of life. Sonia is registered with good standing in the BC Nurses Union and is a member of the Association of Foot Care Nurses and Lower Mainland Foot Care Nurses Association. She takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of nursing practise. Professional, surgical grade tools and instruments are individually sealed in secure pouches and autoclave sterilized, according to the BC Best Practice Guidelines for Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization.

Erin graduated at the top of her class in April 2023 from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Westcoast College of Massage. She successfully completed the provincial board examinations to become a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia.

Erin enjoys working actively with patients to help them overcome pain and achieve their optimum level of functionality. She believes every patient is unique and treats them with respect to their individual complaints. Depending on the client’s needs, she is skilled in various techniques, such as deep tissue, joint mobilizations and Swedish massage.

Connie graduated from the University of Toronto in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists in 1992 (FCAMPT) after completing the Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy. In 2004, she obtained her certification in Intramuscular Stimulation (GunnIMS).

Connie integrates manual therapy, exercise, IMS, education , ConnectTherapy, and visceral manipulation in her treatments. She believes that a detailed and thorough examination is key to successful treatment.

She enjoys treating people of all ages and conditions, but in particular loves to treat spinal and post-MVA patients, rib, vestibular and concussion patients, and seniors.

A lifelong learner, she continues to develop her skills, most recently in visceral manipulation, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and ConnectTherapy.

Henry Mok is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from the UBC Master of Physical Therapy program in 2021, following a degree in Biomedical Physiology from SFU in 2016. With over a decade of experience as a Kinesiologist in orthopaedic settings, he has developed a diverse skill set, including completion of the CPA Orthopaedic Division Level 3, and training in Acupuncture (AA1/AA2) and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).

As a Physical Therapist, Henry fosters an open environment, encouraging clients to ask questions and actively participate in their treatment. He integrates manual therapy, dry needling, soft tissue techniques, and personalized exercises, often using clear educational diagrams to ensure clients fully understand their care.

Yinka graduated from Nigeria’s premier ivory tower Univeristy of Ibadan with a BSc degree in Physiotherapy in 1998.  Attended various FIFA courses such as FIFA 11+, pre 2010 World Cup medical course in South Africa. In pursuit of sports physiotherapy training, injury prevention and functional training, Yinka attained Twist Sports Conditioning bronze level certification, McKenzie A, B and C courses, lower limb biomechanics course, Isokinetic Sports Medicine Conference London 2015 and Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy (Bath) 2022. Yinka specializes in sports injury diagnosis,  prevention, rehabilitation and return-to- participation, play and performance with biomechanics, clinical skills and exercise. Anita Trip is a licensed physiotherapist who graduated from the Physical Therapy Program at the University of British Columbia in 2001. Prior to this she completed a degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University in 1997.

Since then Anita has completed many continuing education courses including: Level 3 manual therapy and manipulation levels with the Orthopedic Division, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and in many specific areas including: low back, pelvis, neck, mid back (thorax), shoulder and foot. She is also certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and is a Certified Gunn IMS Practitioner.

Anita has worked during her physiotherapy career in private practice clinics primarily in the orthopaedic setting. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals of optimal function with a special interest in dance and atheletic sports. She particularly endeavours to achieve the body’s optimal muscle balance through muscle release with soft tissue and joint techniques, IMS, and with prescription of corrective exercises.

Outside of work Anita enjoys a multitude of athletic activity. Laurie has worked in orthopaedic physiotherapy clinics with an emphasis on sports and running injuries since graduating in 1985 from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc(PT).

She worked in Abbotsford, Surrey and Richmond until moving to Vancouver Island in 1989. She worked at Nanaimo Physiotherapy and Qualicum Physiotherapy Clinic until taking a 3 year sailing trip to the South Pacific in 2016. She treated people on the boat occasionally during this adventure, mainly for back problems but occasionally for ankle, knee and hip problems. When returning in 2019, she quickly reestablished herself in the Coquitlam area.

She has taken ‘countless’ orthopaedic courses throughout the years and successfully completed the Intermediate Orthopaedic Manual Therapy examinations in 1990. She completed the Gunn IMS certification courses in 2019.

She has a background of coaching at a national level with both Masters distance athletes and youth sprinters and hurdlers and still runs regularly as well as cycling, hiking and sprinting/hurdling with the local Greyhound Masters Track and Field Club.

Laurie won the 300 m hurdles event at the 2022 Canadian Masters Track and Field Championships in Regina on July 31, 2022. Laurie’s time of 1:09:10 set a new BC record. A certified Level 3 track coach in both distance running and sprints/hurdles, Laurie runs with the Greyhound Masters Track and Field Club. She has specialized in treating sports and running injuries.
