Kinesiology

Brendan holds a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta, which he obtained following his Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics in Exercise Science at the University of British Columbia. Brendan’s keen interest for sports and orthopaedics has led him to develop himself in these areas as a physiotherapist. Previous clinical experience has provided him with orthopaedic and sports injury management skills. He is trained in Functional Dry Needling (IMS), Active Release technique (ART), Kinesiotape application, Graston Technique, and looks forward to further advancing his clinical knowledge by continuing his post-graduate training. Brendan was a key component in his previous clinics getting voted the best physiotherapist and rehab clinic in the Tri-Cities.

Living in Vancouver and Whistler for several years, Brendan has pursued mountain biking competitively and is an avid snowboarder and surfer. He also enjoys hiking, tennis, and traveling.

Brendan’s enthusiastic, devoted, and motivating personality have been his key to success, and he is excited to apply his skills and knowledge with Port Coquitlam Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.

Tamara completed her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, where she previously completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a Minor in Commerce while playing for the varsity Women’s soccer team. She has passed her CPA Orthopaedic Devision Level 1 and looks forward to completing more courses to provide her clients with the most up to date and evidence-based treatments. Tamara enjoys treating all injuries and combines manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, education and exercises in her approach. She believes that clients can play an active role in their recovery and will work with you to achieve your individual goals. Having grown up in the Tri-Cities, Tamara enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking, biking and rock climbing.
